Interactive Exhibits The interactive exhibits at Aviation Heritage Park are designed for visitors of all ages to learn about aviation history and discover their own inner pilot. You can sit inside a C-47 cargo plane, visit the cockpit of an AT-6 Texan trainer plane, or explore a replica air traffic control tower – all without ever leaving the ground! There are also hands-on activities like flight simulators and hot air balloon rides (when available).

Educational Displays In addition to interactive exhibits, Aviation Heritage Park offers several educational displays to give visitors an in-depth look into the history of aviation. Explore exhibits featuring WWII aircraft models, including fighter planes such as the P-51 Mustang and B-26 Marauder Bomber; or head over to the “Living Legends” exhibit which features stories from local veterans who served in WWII. There are also larger-scale installations such as a full size replica F4U Corsair fighter plane suspended above the park grounds.

Events & Programs Every year Aviation Heritage Park hosts several events and programs open to locals and visitors alike. On Saturdays there are free guided tours which include informative presentations as well as access to all of the park’s interactive displays and educational exhibits. Other popular events include fly-ins held throughout the summer months where vintage planes come together for an exciting display of flight maneuvers. Visitors can even book private tours with experienced pilots for an up close view of these classic aircrafts!
